Aleksandra (Ola) Krzekotowska-do Rego is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator with a diverse international background. She has trained in Poland (STW - School of Contemporary Dance, Poznań), Germany (danceworks Berlin), Austria (Anton Bruckner Private University, Linz), and Sweden (University of the Arts, Stockholm). Her degree project, “My Skin. Short Stories”, examines issues of personal and social identity through the lens of skin color. Aleksandra’s solo project “To Chopin's Sisters” was developed under the mentorship of Inge Gappmaier as part of the Raw Matters Tender Steps Residency in Vienna. Her newest international collaboration is “Lines of Connection”, a dance performance created for the World Expo in Osaka 2025. Her artistic activity also includes co-choreographing and performing Ivana Radovanovic's music compositions: “Overload”, addressing the theme of digital information overload, and “Duality”, which reflects on current sociopolitical challenges.
Since 2022, Aleksandra has been an Associate Artist with RedSapata in Linz and a member of the Rhizome Dance Collective, an international residency-based group. Since 2023, Aleksandra has been teaching contemporary dance technique at the AZB Lehrgang at Anton Bruckner Private University, lead by Sarah Kronawittleithner, where she also choreographed the piece “put myself in your shoes”. In parallel, she offers weekly contemporary dance classes for beginners at RedSapata.
In addition to her artistic work, Aleksandra holds a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting (German, French, and Polish) and has extensive experience teaching foreign languages both privately and in group settings. She is currently expanding her practice by pursuing a yoga teaching certification, bringing a holistic approach to movement and communication.
