Aline Gia Perino / Dance Company ONE

Aline Gia Perino is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and dance educator based in Zurich (CH). She is one of four choreographers of Dance Company ONE, based in Winterthur (CH), and is an active board member of the Dance Club Hirzel, TanzLOBBY IG Tanz Zürich, and Brücki235. After completing her studies at HF ZUB at Tanzwerk101 in Zurich and earning her BA (Hons) in Urban and Contemporary Dance (2023), she has developed several pieces, including TURBULENCE, breathless*, stubborn illusion*, A.tactus.I*, KID and the one who watches as one* (*those duo pieces were co-created and co-choreographed with Nina Pfüller).

Since 2022, Alines choreographic works have been shown at various venues including Zentralwäscherei Zürich, Theater ROXY Birsfelden, Theater im Kornhaus Baden, Maxim Theater Zürich, Kunst im Depot Winterthur, Zürich Tanzt, InciDanse Fribourg, Tanz In Olten, Tanzfest Winterthur, Tanzfestival Winterthur, Fanfaluca Festival Aarau, the 2024 Midsummer Ball at Zürich HB, Kunst im Hirzel, Alte Schule Horgen, Salon Basel, Bestival Bern, Grätsche Festival Zürich, Theaterspektakel Zürich and Sonnenstein Loft Linz.

She has worked as a choreographer for the Schule Tanzt project at the Zurich Opera House and performed as a dancer for Sarah Keusch, in greywax140 by Victor Rottier and Remembering the Future by Ivana Balabanova. Together with the artists Eugen Liengme and Marco Ferronato, she developed the interdisciplinary piece sandandsound + steps, which premiered in 2025 at Baby Angel Zürich.

Her first full-length piece KID has been touring successfully since 2023 in and around Zurich (CH).

Her latest full-length duet the one who watches as one was co-choreographed with Nina Pfüller during residencies at RedSapata Linz and Dance Studio Olten, where it was also presented to the public.

Dance Company ONE’s new project LES FEMMES FATALES - with Aline as choreographer, dancer, and part of the project lead - has received co-production support from Theater am Gleis and the City of Winterthur, and will premiere at Theater am Gleis in February 2026.

In addition to her artistic work, Aline teaches Breaking and Hip Hop at Weinfelden Music School and Dance Club Hirzel. She also works at VoiceSteps Musical School in Cham, where she choreographs the annual VoiceSteps Kids productions and teaches workshops for the VoiceSteps Company.

From May to July 2025, she did the b12 mavericks program in Berlin, collaborating as a dancer in performance projects with choreographers Akira Yoshida and Scott Jennings.
