Anna Chiara Goerig

Chiara studied at Kari.Tanzhaus in Kempten, graduating in 2022. She started her movement education at age 7 with artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, jazz and modern dance, later continuing her studies in Eda Act in Florence and Freies Musikzentrum in Munich. She did exchange programs at ARTCAT Centre de Formation en Danse Professionnelle in France and National University (UNA) in Costa Rica.

Since 2023 she is based in Munich and has worked in productions with Gaetan Boschini, Ralf Jaroschinski, Ruth Golic, Compañía CCDUNA and the National Dance Company in Costa Rica (CND). She has taught at Leopoldini School for Contemporary Circus in Munich and choreographed for artkempten. She premiered her first production „Troy”, (co-choreographed with Ashley Lê-Hà Vu) at Kempten Stadttheater and later also performed at Schwere Reiter, Munich.

She is a member of c.two.z, a collective that explores environmental themes through dance; the improvisation group tentacle, which focuses on instant composition; and the ArtKempten dance company, where she has performed in Troy, Ofuobi, and Brainwalkers. Since 2025, she has also been a member of the Austrian dance company La Intempestiva, where she has worked in the pieces Zweiheit and Verklärungen.

She has performed and taught in Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Costa Rica and Nigeria.
