Daniela is an internationally choreographer and movement director of Dcollective whose work is defined by its visceral intensity, intellectual rigor, and cross-disciplinary depth. Driven by an insatiable curiosity about the expressive power of the body, Daniela’s choreographic voice emerges through a unique fusion of movement, voices, and storytelling.

Her creative journey began gaining international attention in 2017 when she was invited to La Biennale Danza with her debut project We Are Raw Material, which marked the beginning of a practice rooted in experimentation and embodiment. Collaborating with leading voices across disciplines, she has worked closely with artist Maria Gaetanidi, artistic director at Anatoli Vassiliev’s Theatre, forging a dialogue between movement and theatricality.

Daniela’s choreographic process is deeply rooted in “thinking through and with the body”, a lifelong inquiry into how movement can reveal the invisible. In 2021, she earned her MFA in Choreography from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, further deepening her commitment to transdisciplinary research.

Her recent works include commissions for The Eifman Academy of Dance, premiering at the Alexandrinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg, Before Night Falls for Contemporary Cairo Night 2023, a poignant exploration of masculinity and displacement, currently on tour across Italy and Egypt for Festival Fermenti, Venice, Naranji Festival, Siracusa, Teatro Libero di Palermo, AltoFest Festival, Naples.

Women without men is her last work, a deep investigation of Iranians underrepresented voices, that creates an immersive experience where movement becomes both a political and poetic act. Daniela stands at the forefront of contemporary performance, building bridges between communities, and disciplines through the universal language of the body.
