Ebb&Flow

Ebb&Flow is an artistic research collective on ecosomatics created in 2023 by Signa Schiavo Campo (IT), poet, performer and somatic researcher, Kinga Szemessy (HU),dancer and PHD candidate in Salzburg, Sally O’Neil (SE), dramaturg. We design performances focused on interconnectedness, blur of boundaries and perception of continuum between the self, body and surroundings. Through participatory dramaturgies, interdisciplinary investigations, and altered everyday event formats we invite our audiences to break barriers between fixed categories and dualisms (nature/culture, body/mind for instance). We are inspired by somatic eco-artivism which is artistic and ecological activism through somatics, thus bodywork and bodily awareness practices.
