Biography of the company

Esperis Collective is an artistic group that addresses social issues through diverse performances. It consists of Dimitra Mouka, Ilianna Mouka, and Katerina Maria Vavouraki, blending their backgrounds in dance, music, and performance to create impactful works that challenge societal norms. The idea for Esperis Collective was born during Dimitra, Ilianna, and Katerina’s stay in Porto, where their shared experiences and artistic vision began to take shape. They began developing their concepts while rehearsing at Academia de Dança de Matosinhos and A Piscina, experimenting with a unique combination of dance, music, and performance. As a team, they are scheduled to participate in an artistic residency at RedSapata Kulturinitiative at the end of April 2025 with the piece ATTENTION! Alongside this, they are also working on another piece titled 5 Minutes More. Together, they aim to challenge cultural norms and inspire change through innovative performances.
