Zona Limítrofe - Dally Schwarz & Marcos Aganju

performance, dance, music

Dally Schwarz and Marcos Aganju have been working together as an artistic partner since 2014, creating shows, performances and works that cross disciplines between dance, music and visual arts.

Originally from Brazil, they have lived in Lisbon since 2017. They are artists who deal with queer, feminist and anti-racist issues in their practices and thoughts, directly affecting their team relationships and the people involved with the Zona Limítrofe.

In addition to being creators and artistic directors, they are educators and carry out artistic research with a greater interest in language, experimentation and new formats.

They have presented works in several countries, including: Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, England, United States of America, Uruguay and Belgium.

Zona Limítrofe is configured as a space for thought, realization and cultural exchanges through artistic expressions and practices. Created in 2014 by artists and educators Dally Schwarz and Marcos Aganju, the platform in 2022 also becomes a non-profit Cultural Association based in Lisbon/PT.

ZL is the gathering of activist artists who, since 2014, through this creation platform, rethink being in the contemporary world and its political and artistic implications and responsibilities in the meeting with different partnerships.

It promotes meetings and a safe space where people who are interested in radical and transdisciplinary languages can express themselves by connecting lgbtqia+ artists, immigrants and people who somehow do not fit into the hegemonic political process.
