Cie FENFIRE

FABRIC OF CIRCUS is located between contemporary circus and textile art. Artists, especially those who choose object manipulation as their speciality, develop a certain view on objects. We set the task of examining the „costume“ from this perspective as well: What if itself carries the object, becomes the object itself, or significantly influences the manipulation of the object? Reflection on the current socio-political issue of overconsumption of textiles and “fast fashion” plays also into the artistic research.
