Ebb&Flow / Red Ends & Beginnings

Our research explores the fields of female sexuality, fertility and life-death cycles from an ecosomatic perspective, investigating bodily manifestations and the relationship with the beyond human. This research offers embodied insights into the plural dimension of cyclicity, privileging a non-linear and collective approach in dialogue with the contributions of authors like Astrida Neimanis, Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Ana Dubljević.

We have opened a space of experimentation between sensory refinement, exploration of movement and imagery toward an expansion of consciousness from the body’s organic resources. We have alternated practices of zooming in (directing attention to internal micro perceptions) and zooming out (connecting to macro levels and expanded time), promoting a shared inquiry from which new ecosensitive body narratives can branch out.
