Hana Kokšalová

The performance JELLY seeks radical decomposition of the body to reconfigure it as a fluid, soft terrain without defining interpretations of categories/identities.

The piece takes us daydreaming while listening to the radio in a teenage bedroom. Fantasies immerse us in ecological images of a wetland utopia of “perfect” fluid bodies (oh so different from our own) where we discover love, care, resistance and finally belonging. We are also losing ourselves in cosplaying popstars - all eyes on us, we are finally confident.
