An immersive experimental dance performance
Project/Residency Timeframe:
07.09.-18.09.2026
con_ACT is an immersive interdisciplinary experimental dance performance exploring body memory, perception, resonance and the connections that emerge between bodies. Combining Butoh, Physical Theatre, Clown, non-verbal movement, live music and live-generated visual projections, the project creates a sensory and participatory space in which different forms of perception and communication can unfold.
The performance is developed as a choreographic experiment that invites the audience to move through the space, choose their own perspective and, optionally, engage in the final playful part of the performance.
The project is supported by Decentralized District Cultural Funding Floridsdorf, Red Caret Art Award – for the promotion of young art, Art Association “Kunstgeberei” and Kultur Anker Zentrum Schlingermarkt, where performances will take place from 20–22 November 2026.
The artistic team consists of Miriam Strasser (Artistic Director, Director, Performer), Bea Forizs (Performer), Defne Uluer (Outside Eye), Hannah Strobl (Visual Artist), Roxanne Szankovich (Live Music and Composition) and Manuel Ruppert (Technical Support, Light).
